Solid Hardwood Flooring expresses the rich and unique beauty of natural wood, and will compliment any décor. It is an environmentally clean product, containing zero artificial components and contributing to healthy air quality in your home. Its surface can be sanded and refinished 5-6 times, making it an investment that will last for generations. Keep in mind that solid hardwood flooring is prone to heat and moisture issues, and will require more maintenance than other flooring options.

Expect your solid hardwood flooring to start at $7.99 / sqft including installation

Engineered Hardwood Flooring is comprised of a relatively thin layer of hardwood (the wear layer) bonded to an engineered middle core made of layers of wood bonded together with adhesives and high heat. This layered core makes engineered hardwood more resistant to moisture and heat than solid hardwood, and it can be sanded and refinished 3-5 times, depending on the thickness of the wear layer. Known for it's strength and stability, engineered hardwood can be installed below grade (ie. in your basement) and on top of concrete under the right conditions.
